I've read your other thread and you didn't get "ripped apart" (bated from two inappropriate posts that should exist removed). Your other thread was titled, "LG G4 This Phone is Garbage", and people provided aid for about of your issues. The random shutdown thing actually is rare, in that you 2 are the simply ones I've seen that have this upshot. So it's either an app upshot from who-knows-what, or it can mayhap resolved via factory reset, or your telephone just needs to exist fixed. As I've read most every thread in this forum, and you guys are the only ones to come forward with this effect, then have the fact that there maybe is something seriously wrong with your phone that non everyone else is experiencing.

In a non-angry, hopefully helpful tone: you're experiencing something that is most likely caused either by a bad SD card (as greydarrah has noted) or a bad app. SD bill of fare result is easy to diagnose. To see if it's a bad app, reboot in Rubber Manner and see if the problem persists... and if non, then get-go figuring out which of your apps is causing the upshot. If none of that works, either try a factory reset or return your phone to your carrier (or wherever.)

Umm...there was nix aroused or negative about his post. He provided troubleshooting steps and and so stated what is but fact about technology...y'all just get a bad one sometimes.
Non cool to come to this forum and in your first and just mail service accuse someone that way. Especially someone who is/has done nothing but post helpful information and start a sticky thread.
What did Sprint tell you?

im glad i came across this post. mine is doing the same i accept had mine since it first came out. did accept g3. dearest these phones.
mine as done it since tuesday i was backing it up and lg bridge came up with 2 software updates. and then i backed my phone upwardly and washed the update, now with outcome as others, on my g4 02 uk unlocked i have
android ver 5.one
kernel three.10.49
build lmy47d
software v10d234-10
that'southward the g4 h815, now i dont know to accept sd card out back information technology upwards, and put my fill-in original on the phone. or just take sd menu out to rule that out.
any ideas please.that rules out sd card taken out. i think i volition become back or do a factory restore.

Okay, I have the H815 and simply had a random reboot in one case throughout its 2 months of service. It was depression on battery, though.
I can give you some tips to diagnose the issue;
- Remove the SD card if you have one inside.
- Uninstall any apps that are of no employ or ones that await suspicious.
- Exercise a factory reset if the higher up 2 didn't help
If your phone yet randomly reboots, take it back for an RMA.
Mine still works fine. Zero lag and no serious problems aside from that puzzling random reboot.

Mine has been doing this too but just for the past few days. I know I got some Sprint Pack update inside the last calendar week and and then got a message that i of the apps couldn't exist updated....it seems to have started after that and so I'm wondering if there's a connexion. Today information technology took four times of removing the battery before it would finally start, and then it did a one-half-hour app optimization thing...ate up about 12% of my bombardment and now the back of the phone is hot to the touch.
I have loved this telephone up until this trouble started happening simply I'm getting actually frustrated with it over this.
Considering doing a mill reset merely then I lose all of my settings, right? And I really don't desire to take to become through redoing all the settings once again.
In the meantime, does anyone know how to actually get the SD card out of the telephone?! Instructions are straightforward, but when information technology comes to sliding out the menu--it won't. I can push it out from the top with my fingernail but it only moves most 1-2 mm and that'south not enough to get concord of information technology and pull it the rest of the way out.
GAAAHHH!

Hold downwardly the ability push to get the power bill of fare. Long press power off until you lot go the prompt for safe manner.

got this its not mine copy/paste, i have done it this way.
LG G4 Prophylactic Mode
Printing and Concur the Ability Button
Let Go of the Ability Push button When the Power Menu Appears
Tap and Hold the 'Power Off' Option
Tap on the 'OK' Option When Told About Rebooting into Safe Mode
Wait Until the LG G4 Reboots into Safe ModeExplanation
Safe Mode for the LG G4 is a mode for you to disable all 3rd party applications from employ. The reason why Google added it is so that we can find out if a 3rd party application is the reason why something is wrong with our phones. For example, if you are experiencing excessive bombardment drain on the LG G4, then it is recommended that y'all boot into Safety Mode and monitor your battery usage while in this manner. If your battery drain improves while in Safe Fashion then a 3rd party application is likely the culprit and now it is your job to find out which one it is.08-fifteen-2015 05:18 PM

Mine does NOT come up out. If your phone isn't Sprint out set-ups might be different. The usual "button and information technology volition popular out" maneuver is not working with mine.

Every bit far every bit SD card instructions all models are the same. I'd take it to a sprint store and have them look at it.

You should be able to merely pull the menu with your fingernail toward the battery to get it out of the slot.
08-fifteen-2015 05:45 PM
-
You can ordinarily take a piece of record, stick it to the border of the sd card and pull information technology out. I've too used a needle to elevate information technology out.
08-fifteen-2015 05:49 PM
-
Likewise! I didn't discover this until I'd removed the SD card several times by dragging it out with a fingernail:
There is a little piece y'all can slide down towards the bottom of the telephone, which will push the SD card out. It's a small black plastic "tab", next to where it says "Micro SD" on the back of the phone itself.
It helped me get the carte du jour out. Because, as was noted, you lot can't push it in, to arrive popular out, like on my GS3.

i have even tried this at the infinitesimal since doing condom mode telephone every bit been ok going to leave sd card out for 24 but also read this. again non mine copy/paste
Touchscreen Issues
Some LG G4 users have been reporting virtually a slew of touchscreen problems in the recent by, wherein the device often fails to register taps and swipes and sometimes results in a delayed response that apparently affects native features like Knock Code.
Affected users have mostly been complaining nearly a very sluggish default keyboard, also facing issues while accessing the notification dropdown menus.
Potential fixes
Launch the Dialer and enter 277634#*# or 3845#*Model# (where model is the version of the device, east.g. 811, 815, etc.) to enter the Service Menu. Go to Device Test > Service Menu > Manual Test > Affect Draw Test and select Manual. Try touching, borer, and swiping on the test area and wait for any missed touches, indicated by the lack of a red mark in that area.
If service bill of fare cannot be accessed, just download the Multitouch Test app from the Google Play Store, and bank check if in that location are whatever problems with the touchscreen.
The LG Keyboard lag tin can be fixed by installing LG'south latest software update to handle this problem, and this seems to have alleviated the issue. If you missed this update, endeavor a third-political party keyboard from the Google Play Shop. All the same, some users have reported that problems persist with these besides.
Alternatively, this result can exist resolved by using "Force GPU Rendering" in the Programmer Options. To unlock these settings, go to Settings > General > About Phone > Software Info and tap on the build number continuously until you see the message: "You are now a developer". Afterwards this message appears, go to Developer Options in the Settings menu, and activate Strength GPU Rendering.
Those who are using screen protectors on their telephone can fix this upshot by just removing it.
In case of the entire screen existence unresponsive to affect, information technology is likely to be a hardware fault, and picking upwardly a replacement could be the simply viable solution.08-fifteen-2015 07:03 PM

I don't know about the keyboard lag, except that many people are finding the Google keyboard amend on the g4.
So did safe fashion stop the shut down / reboot bug? If then then the side by side step is to figure out which installed app was causing the problem.
